A couple innovative ways to use Google Drive

Information, Tools
I've Been Google-ized! Follow me long enough and you'll hear me extol the virtues of some Google application. As an IT professional - dealing with buzzwords like "the cloud", "the Internet of Things", "collaboration", and so many others... make no mistake, Google is in the thick of it. If you are NOT using some/many Google services, why NOT!!! I use: Search, Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Alerts, Analytics, Keep, Photos, YouTube, Maps, Chat, Hangouts (group video), Business Listings, Chrome, Plus (okay, just kidding, Plus is useless), and a few others. True online, real-time, FREE, collaboration with people all over the world. Okay.. my two articles. If you like them and find them helpful, I'd LOVE it if you shared them. Time and Task Management – Part 2

career development, Coaching, Information, Leadership, Tools
In Part 1, I addressed a few time and task management concepts. They were: “The System” does not exist, “a system” is critical You must be able to safely forget about future events Email management - delete a lot of it and keep your inbox clutter down Multitasking is a lie Simple is best I’ll show you in Part 3 how my system, which primarily uses Google Calendar, is sort of a mish-mash of both systems and concepts. Ch-ch-ch-changes - coaching and more Just a quick note to let you know of website changes and some things coming down the pipe. I've provided some coaching for I.T. professionals, executives, departments and several I.T. consultants - both independents and organizations. I had meant to launch everything on January 1st - but, well, holiday, family, and consulting projects were unwilling to wait (funny how they can be). Website Changes and Additions I've added a new home page to introduce the site more clearly and and the services I offer. Content I would love for you to check out includes: I.T. Executive Coaching (CIO's, CTO's, I.T. departments) I.T. Consultant Coaching (12 Weeks to Profitable Consulting) Public Speaking and…

And I had one for the 1st edition of the book (I may repurpose those for this website and do some new ones). Given my schedule, it is too much to maintain. Part of my goal is to consolidate efforts. It is true that I am the author of Building Your I.T. Career. But I do a number of other things as well. My primary channel will host various playlist and videos that touch on all of my activities. So.. join me there for sure. I'll be posting these videos on my general author/songwriter site. But I'll post them here as well from time to time. This…
